Core Currencies: Soul Shards & Yen
In Jujutsu Zero, your progress is dictated by your ability to manage two primary currencies: Soul Shards and Cursed Yen. Soul Shards are the premium currency, used for summoning characters (Gacha) and purchasing high-tier cosmetics. Cursed Yen, on the other hand, is the workhorse currency used for upgrading techniques, buying consumables, and repairing cursed tools.
Farming Soul Shards
While Soul Shards can be purchased, the most efficient f2p (free-to-play) method is through Daily Quests and Seasonal Achievement Milestones. Additionally, using the latest Jujutsu Zero codes is the fastest way to get a starting pool of shards. In late-game, Special Grade Raids offer a chance to drop shards directly, though the drop rate is low.
Maximizing Yen Income
Yen is primarily earned by defeating cursed spirits in the open world. To maximize your Yen per hour, we recommend farming in the Shinjuku District during the Cursed Hour event, which doubles all Yen drops. Equipping the Greed cursed charm can also provide a passive 15% boost to all currency gained from combat.
The Item Database: Tools & Charms
The items in Jujutsu Zero are divided into three main categories: Cursed Tools, Consumables, and Charms. Cursed Tools are weapons that provide flat stat boosts and unique active abilities. For example, the Inverted Spear of Heaven allows the user to nullify certain enemy techniques. Mastering the use of these tools is what allows non-Special Grade characters to compete with the strongest spirits.
Consumables like Cursed Tea and Medical Charms are essential for raid survival, providing temporary buffs to Cursed Energy regeneration and health. We recommend always carrying a full stack of Antidote Charms when entering zones infested with poison-based spirits. Charms are passive items that you can equip in limited slots to specialize your build, focusing on either raw damage, defense, or utility.
The Zero Efficiency Method
To achieve maximum efficiency in your farming runs, you must master the Zero Switch. This involves using a character with high Yen-drop passives (like Panda) to deliver the final blow on bosses, then immediately switching to your main character to soak up the experience. By combining this with a 2x Experience booster from the daily Jujutsu Zero codes, you can level up and fund your upgrades at twice the normal speed.
Remember: every item you find has a purpose. Even low-grade cursed energy remnants can be broken down into Dust, which is required for crafting Special Grade charms. Never leave a loot bag behind.
